What is a human life worth. We would all agree that the value of a human life would be in the millions. The reason I say it would be in the millions because, a human life is the most valueable thing on earth. If you are not alive you are not able to do anything we are able to do now. You wouldnt have the freedom like everyone else has. With Christmas approaching, and Americans writing checks to their favorite charities, it's a good time to ask how these two beliefs- that a human life, if it can be priced at all, is worth millions, and that the factors I have mentioned do not alter the value of a human life- square wiht our actions. You cant put a price on a human life because a human life is irreplaceable. You can always replace a broken item but you can never replace the life of a human being. My point of saying all of this is because a human life is worth more than money can buy and a human life cannot be replaced or fixed.

The estranged wife of a Wisconsin man who barged into a
Wisconsin spa and allegedly shot seven women before killing himself is among
the three women who were fatally wounded.
Zina and Radcliffe Haughton have a 13-year-old daughter together, who was living with her father until the shooting, the source said.
"All I can say is, I want to apologize to the people of Milwaukee who have been hurt. He did not give me any hint of what he would do," Haughton told ABC News affiliate WISN-TV.
Haughton Sr., who lives in Florida, told WISN that his son was a former Marine whom he had not seen since sometime last year but spoke to him on the phone from time to time.
The shooting erupted 11:09 a.m. local time in Brookfield, and shortly after SWAT teams surrounded the spa with their guns drawn, preparing for a gun battle.
Customers -- some still in robes, others barefoot -- ran out of the spa in a panic. John Gosh came face-to-face with the shooter as he tried to escape.
"When the suspect came around the corner, he really looked like a deer in headlights. He didn't expect us to be standing there. He just ducked behind the building," Gosh said.
Zina Haughton
died after husband Radcliffe Haughton, 45, allegedly
opened fire at the Azana Salon & Spa in Brookfield,
Wis., Sunday, a source with knowledge of the investigation said. Police have
yet to confirm the identities of the three women killed.
Police were called to the spa several
weeks before the shooting because Haughton allegedly slashed the tires of his
wife's car. He was arrested and charged for the incident, and later ordered to
turn over all guns in his possession to the sheriff's department.
Zina Haughton sought a restraining order
on her husband Oct. 8 and a judge issued a four-year restraining order
Thursday, according to Brookfield Police Chief Daniel Tushaus.
Investigators say they are still unclear
why Radcliffe Haughton allegedly snapped, although they say he and his wife had
been estranged for some time.
Witnesses say Zina Haughton's
daughter, Yasmeen Daniel, 20, also worked in the spa and witnessed the
shooting.
"She had said her stepfather was in
there trying to shoot as many people as he could," said Sallie Konruff, a
witness at the scene.

Radcliffe Haughton's father, Radcliffe
Haughton Sr., apologized to the victims and their families
for his son's apparent actions shortly after the incident.
"All I can say is, I want to apologize to the people of Milwaukee who have been hurt. He did not give me any hint of what he would do," Haughton told ABC News affiliate WISN-TV.

Witnesses described screaming women, at
least one bleeding, fleeing the spa, with one rolling down a slight hill before
police scooped her up and got her out of the area.

Caves Become Classrooms for Syrian Kids
A cave's interior has
been carved into cube-shaped rooms. Improvised lighting, barely strong enough
to illuminate the cavern, shows children sitting, legs crossed, on the bare
floor.
They are calling out
boisterously, raising their hands eagerly, clamoring to answer questions.
These are some of the
students in Syria who, because of civil war, have deserted their schools and
taken classes literally underground.
An amateur video, posted
by a local activist on YouTube, gives a glimpse of one of these cave schools, which is
reminiscent of the stone schoolhouse from "The Flintstones."
Behind the citizen
reporter, Abu Diyaa, is a group of first- through fourth-graders who greet him
graciously with a round of applause.
"Why here?"
Abu Diyaa asks a male instructor.
"We want to keep
educating our children," says the teacher, who does not give his name.
"But in the city, there is always this imminent danger that the regime
choppers or planes will bomb us or drop the TNT barrels."
The school is in
Kansafra, in a picturesque region known for its flowing green fields and its
groves of olives, cherries and grapes. But none of that is visible from the
classroom, which has no windows.
The children's previous
school, in the nearby town of Jabal Zawiya, was deserted. Abu Diyaa's video
shows a gaping hole in that school's ceiling, the battle scars of what he says
was shelling by regime fighter planes.
The Syrian government
confirmed last month that more than 2,000 of the country's 22,000 schools have
been damaged or destroyed. Through state media reports, it has justified its
military operations on schools by saying that rebels have used them as
bomb-making factories and weapon caches.
Because of restrictions
on journalists by the Syrian government -- as well as life-threatening dangers
involved with reporting from inside the country -- CNN cannot confirm the
government reports or the authenticity of events depicted in social media.
Despite the turmoil
around them, children in Syria still want to learn, said Pauline Rose, director
of an annual education report published by UNESCO. The most recent report focused on education in regions beset with
violence.

Echo and Narcissus
Narcissus is so blinded by his reflection in the water that he hasnt even noticed that there is a beautiful half naked woman sitting next to him. He is very interested in looking at the person looking back at him in the water when he doesnt even know the person looking back at him was himself.

Mockingjay: I want to read this book because it is the sequel to the Hunger Games, and Catching Fire. If people say that the others were good then i can only assume that this one. And because it is the last book of the series. I am really looking forward to reading these.
The Da Vinci Code- I want to read this book cecause i kinda liked movie and its sequel Angles and Demons. And I wanna better understand it. Cause it interests me alot for some reason. And if a book interests me than its worth reading.
Bag of Bones- I really want to read this book because about a week ago I watched the actual movie and it was very cool. Even though I dont like ant of the other books written by him. But I might like this book. So im not sure, maybe it will change my mind about him as an author.
On the Run- Cause I like books like this one. Someone goes missing and they are trying to find them. I guess it is just the suspence of the story that catches my eye. I hope it is good because I would hate to waste my time reading it for no reason considering that i have to read nine others.
The Hardy Boys- I loved some of his books. I wanna read all of his work. He does a great job at keeping you guessing throughout the book. and then he goes all out with a big finish at the end. So I am looking forward to reading alot more of his books.
The Boy In Striped Pajamas- I would like to read this book because alot of my friends said it was good. I have always wanted to read it but never got a chance to. I hope i get to read it since you are giving us a bucket list.
Among the Hidden- I read this book a long time ago and i liked it but i have forgotten about it over time. Thats why i am going to try and read it again so i can enjoy reading it again.
Crime Files- I want to read this book because i like crime shows and books. i own the book also. i thought that the cover of the book was cool so i can only imagine that the book would be the same way.
Catching Fire- I want to read this book because it is the sequel to the Hunger Games. alot of people say it is a good book . So if the first one is any goodthen i am interested in reading about these books. I hope they are good.
